To bridge the gap between penny loafers and sweatpants, DUKE + DEXTER has come together with Soho Yacht Club for a collaboration of six parts. We’ve worked alongside SYC founder and day one friend, Ellis Gilbert, to create a capsule that shakes up signature lines from both brands for the first time - keeping it in the family as we pull pastel tones from Miami Vice and put the ‘penny’ back into our penny loafers.
The ‘Members Only’ campaign brings together two timelines that would have never ordinarily crossed paths, dipping into tales of pennies placed beneath the loafer’s saddle in case of emergency and early Soho Yacht Club launch parties being held at Ellis’ family home. All of this, tied together through a phone booth, a dual-branded coin and access to a secret yacht party at the heart of London.
