The D+D Isolation Handbook Vol. 2

Welcome to the second instalment of our latest series – the D+D Isolation Handbook. Over the next few months, we’re going to be cramming our journal with what we’re getting up to whilst we’re all staying inside and keeping safe.

Listen up!

 Podcast: Hand Cut Radio

If you’ve got even a slight inclination to keeping your finger on the pulse of the world of menswear, Hand Cut Radio is your one stop podcast. Hosted by Aleks Cvetkovic, this podcast catches up with some of the names behind your favourite brands and stores, giving you their stories, tips and predictions on everything from footwear to tailoring.

Album: Childish Gambino – 3.15.20

This album feels like it was made for self-isolation. Available in two forms – one with track breaks and one without – this album is a far cry from what many view as Donald Glover’s musical persona’s break-through album, “Because The Internet”.

Which is a good thing. 3.15.20 shifts from soothing tracks to angst filled songs that will make you want to get up and move; the entire album is twisted and slightly confusing, but ultimately entirely brilliant.

Keep it moving

The Uffizi Gallery Tour

Transport yourself to Florence and take a virtual tour of the infamous Uffizi Gallery. Built and filled over the course of centuries, the Uffizi Gallery was created by the Medici – once one of Europe’s richest and most powerful families. The result is a collection of artistic history, from Caravaggio’s Medusa to Raphael’s Madonna of the Goldfinch – there’s 156 pieces of art listed virtually.

Watch: The Mandalorian

Star Wars fans rejoice – Disney+ has landed here in the UK and bought a new story along with it. We’ve all seen the memes of Baby Yoda on Instagram, but now we can see him first hand as the series follows the adventures of The Mandalorian as he ventures through the Star Wars universe.
