Add personal hand-painted artwork to the most comfortable loafer you’ll ever own. This Ezra is built from black tumbled and grained leather, with an off-white leather lining that moulds to your foot. It’s hand-pleated at the vamp – a deliberate flex that shows how soft the hide is – and has a printed, cushioned in-sock that takes the pressure out of each step. The rubber sole is finished with a Blake stitch, the preferred construction of Italian makers.
Our in-house artist Katie is here to make your custom pair. From simple initialling to detailed artwork, birthdays to weddings, she can bring all manner of ideas to life.
Step One - Select the tier level you would like for your custom pair. This determines how detailed you would like your custom artwork to be - you can see examples of the tiers in the images on this page. Then place your order.
Step Two - Our artist Katie will email you to confirm the details of your custom order, including which shoe style you would like, size and find out more about your design idea. You can then share any relevant imagery. Once Katie has a clear idea of the design, she will prepare a digital mock-up for you to review.
Step Three - Once you've approved your mock-up, Katie will begin hand-painting your one-of-a-kind pair of D+Ds and, in 6 weeks or less, your custom 1OF1 DUKE+DEXTER shoes will land at your doorstep.
