Duke Racing 2
With our first clothing capsule having completely sold out, we decided to drive the same theme into the cooler months with several tweaks to keep Duke Racing in rotation.
We returned to one of Europe’s finest factories. A need for thicker weights, revised colour schemes, winter-ready fabrics and a more oversized fit across the board – based on your feedback.
Not only that, but we switched up our approach to printing. The graphics sketched, created and refined by our in-house designers were applied to the garments post-wash and distress this time round. Adding more vibrancy to the tees and hoodies.
We’ve carried the Helmet and World Championship graphics forward, two of last season’s best-sellers are now available in new colourways. And we’ve introduced two new ones, taking form as the Sponsors and Pit Stop - the latter a graphic that was originally created for the DR1 Jacket label, but picked up and requested by so many of you.
This time around, the location wasn’t so polished. We tapped into Tower Porsche, an independent London garage that has been owned and run by John since 1984. A bespoke workshop. It had stories to tell, from 356’s up to the 992. We arrived with no instruction manual and no pause for shooting. Working around John and his team who continued without batting an eyelid. Business as usual, for all of us.
So here goes, DR2. Just over 10 months of refinement and infinite rounds of samples, fittings and wash tests. All worth it.
